Meatloaf Recipe

I will not pretend to be a well renowned cook, or even a good one at that. When we first got married, my husband was less than impressed with my meals, although he never did not not eat a bite. But over the years I have found a few recipes that I’ve spiced up to satisfy our tastes.
This meatloaf is pretty standard, the one thing is, I always cook on a large scale. Other than my husband and I, we have a thirteen year old foster daughter, my 22 year old brother, and various others coming and going- so we just make, and consume a lot of food. Instead of having to double some of these recipes, you’ll probably have to half them.

Pre-heat oven to 375°
Ingredients:
4lbs of (Cutting Hill) ground beef
1 to 2 diced onions
5 to 6 fresh minced garlic cloves
2 eggs
2/3 cup milk
a handful of fresh basil, chopped
salt and pepper
Sauce:
2 cups yellow mustard
½ cup brown sugar
Mix all of the top ingredients together and place into an ungreased casserole dish. Then, in the same bowl because I hate having extra dishes, mix the yellow mustard and brown sugar. Spread evenly on top of the meatloaf. Bake 50-60 minutes, or until cooked through.
I was able to grab some pictures before it went in, but it was gone before I got pictures after it came out (I will do better next time)- needless to say it was a hit!
