About Us
Both Caroline and Ramsay grew up in New Hampshire, but their roots were far removed from the world of farming. It wasn’t until Ramsay, while in college, took a part-time job on a nearby dairy farm that everything changed. That experience sparked a deep connection to the land and animals, and soon, the two found themselves fully immersed in the rhythms of dairy farming.
They purchased their first herd of Holsteins and moved to Vermont’s Northeast Kingdom, where they rented barns and dedicated themselves to the hard work of milking cows and mastering the art of dairy farming. In 2016, they achieved a dream: purchasing their own farm. With growing expertise and a deepening passion, their vision for sustainable and ethical agriculture began to take shape.
Understanding the importance of providing humanely raised, sustainable food, they saw an opportunity to diversify their operation. The transition into beef farming felt natural, and it wasn’t long before they expanded further to include pork and eggs. Today, their farm reflects not just their hard work but their commitment to nurturing both the land and the animals in their care.

Cattle
All of our cattle are certified organic, which means both they and the food they eat are grown without any chemical fertilizers, pesticides, or artificial additives. As ruminant animals, cows are happiest and healthiest when they can roam freely and graze on pasture, just as nature intended. To honor this, we use regenerative grazing practices, ensuring they can enjoy as much lush, green grass as possible during the growing season.
Every cow is born and raised right here on our farm, surrounded by care and attention. We focus on raising Angus and Charolais cattle because they thrive in our Vermont climate and produce beef that’s not only hearty but incredibly flavorful.

Pigs
We raise heritage pigs, celebrated for their time-honored genetics and rich, traditional flavor. These cherished breeds thrive outdoors, where they can express their natural instincts—grazing on grass, rooting for roots, and savoring fallen fruits.
Their natural foraging behaviors not only nourish them but also help regenerate the soil, creating a healthier ecosystem and reducing our farm’s environmental footprint. The result is pork that’s as delicious as it is tender, embodying the care and connection we have with our animals and the land.

Dairy
We milk around 180 organic Holstein and Jersey cows twice a day, everyday. These animals and their offspring were all raised on the farm and taught us the commitment, dedication, and reward that comes with regenerative farming.

Hens
We integrated laying hens into our pasture system to increase the nitrogen levels that were lacking in the soils. We currently have a diverse flock that is made up of numerous different breeds and egg colors. We wholesale our eggs to several local stores and of course carry them in our farmstand!
